After the Verona wine fair, VinItaly, I caught a train to
Milano and joined
Le Crazy Milanese
for a delightful evening of vino & vittles.
The hostess with the mostest is
Barbara Ferri.
The table was set and Carlo brought some wonderful bottles
of wine.
Silvia & Tibor
Carlo's decanting was supervised by Antonio.
Beatrice, meanwhile, was entertaining the crowd with a
song, apparently.
Silvia had prepared a wonderful terrine for a starter...
Everyone hoisted a glass to have a toast to Andra, who's in
New York, instead of in Milano, celebrating.
While Carlo took care of the cellar work, Giovanna was
looking after the pasta.
Everyone was eager to pass their plate.

The main plate was a pork roast prepared by Beatrice.

We then busted out the Weimax capelli di baseball.
As the evening wound down, we spoke about our next
Bacchanalia...in May.
And so...
When I finally woke up, I found myself in Calabria !!!
