We've dined here several times...
It's always a good meal...not fancy, but solid.
They were preparing for a wedding banquet...
...uh, please pass the salt!
We began with some antipasti...a wonderful prosciutto...
Caponata.
White asparagus.
The wine list is extensive and there are many current vintages
from around Italy as well as some older vintages.
We opted for an Alto Adige white with a bit of bottle age and the owner and chef
took care of us.
The 2007 Pinot Bianco Vorberg reminded us of good Alsatian Pinot Blanc and there
was a mildly appley note with just a hint of smokiness.
The Veneto is known for a pasta called Bigoli...
And we could not resist such temptation!
Our main plate was Faraona...Guinea Hen.
The Russiz Superiore Cabernet Franc showed a nice red fruit quality along with a
hint of spice.

We were too full to order a dessert, but they still brought a few little treats
to conclude our meal.
